Diane wins the Centenary Cup

MEMBERS of the ladies section competed for the Centenary Cup last Tuesday.

The overall winner was Diane Patterson whilst young Niamh Ward captured the gross award.

Section one (0-20) was won by Susan McMorrow with a net 71.

Section two (21-28) was won by Josie McAnarney with a net 72.

In section three (29-36) Margaret O’Neill triumphed with another score of net 71.

Bronagh McKavanagh had an ace on the day.

The nine hole competition winner was Joan Bruce with 15 points.

The Ladies’ Cowdy team last Thursday travelled to Lisburn GC and secured 10.5 points out of 24r. The return match is due to be played at Lurgan on August 12.
