Disappointment with latest performance

Roesiders manager Oran Kearney was bitterly disappointed with his teams performance.

"To say I am disappointed with the result would be a bit of an understatement," said Kearney.

He added: "We were super in the first half and everything we did was the way we wanted it to be. We didn't let them get into the game at all and that's what we spoke about before the game.

"It was a good performance up until half-time and in truth we could and should have been further ahead.

"We spoke before about good set pieces and we did that well and at half-time everything was rosy."

"The former Ballymena United and Linfield star was let down by his side's second half showing.

"We told the players at half-time that there was still a lot of hard work to be done in this game.

"Just because we were playing with the wind and the slope it wasn't going to win the game for us.

"We took our foot off the pedal and for me that's the most disappointing thing from this game.

"Once you lose your initiative in the game it's very hard to re-ignite it again and so it proved.

"We let them get back into the game and it just went from bad to worse for us to be honest.

After the second half showing we got what we deserved and that was only a point from the game."

Despite the draw the Ballymoney native isn't giving up on anything just yet.

"They will all be big games between now and the end of the season but they have been like that all year.

"Anything is still possible and of course we still believe that we can mount a challenged.

"Teams can have a bad run of things and if that happens we have to make sure that we are still in there with a shout."
