Distillery focus on paying players

LISBURN Distillery boss Tommy Wright is hoping the players' wages situation can be sorted out this week as the club prepares for their Irish Cup clash at home to Cliftonville on Saturday.

"Despite all the recent revelations about the club the players have been superb. Even though we have not had any games they have worked very hard in training," said Wright

"The board hope to have the wages situation sorted out this week and I am hopeful we can get back to focusing on playing football."

The squad moved 'indoors' at the weekend when they held an intensive training session in The Soccer Shed facilities in Ballyclare.
