Dixon is best local in race from Skibbereen

The final race of the young bird season was Skibbereen flown on Sunday 21st September. Just over 3,000 birds were competing in the INFC Inland YB National, released at 10.30am. Danny Dixon was best again in the local area timing 16.04hrs recording velocity 1388 for the 266 miles into Dunloy. He was just ahead of Ballymoney Clubmates D & H Stuart who had such a good finish, best in the Coleraine Centre in the final two NIPA races from Fermoy & Rosscarbery.

North Coast Classic Sale Season

The NCC One Loft Race is proud to offer to the fancy this year’s entrants in the 2014 race just flown. The birds will be sold in a number of sales over coming weeks. On offer cream of the fancy and these birds represent the cream of every entrant’s loft.

Only the very best are sent to compete in the NCC and the stock on offer is all exceptionally well bred. Including the winner of, 1st Open, Ace Pigeon, Hot Spot winner’s etc.

Top reports have been received from fanciers who have purchased at previous sales and many winners and other prize winners have been reported to the NCC. Arrangements for the second are as follows. Sale (2) Saturday 4th October. Sale at the Chimney Corner Football Club, Randalstown Road in Antrim at 3.00pm, birds on view from 2.00pm.
