Do you want to be a bowls umpire?

Lisburn Zone have not organised an umpire’s course for several years, but they are hoping to get one up and running this time.

But, they do need people interested in being an umpire in order to start the course, which would be at a central venue.

This is your chance if you wish to give something back to the game you play or if you have never played but are just interested in what it takes to be an umpire.

The local zone have also a new website up and running and the person responsible for it, Patricia Halliday, says it is meant to be an additional means of information on what is happening in Lisburn Zone.

If you take a look at the site it can be seen there is already good progress towards building an excellent tool, thanks to Patricia.
