Speaking on behalf of all volunteers at the Lisburn Dolphins Swimming Club, Fiona Deans was incredibly proud of the athletes and said “ All volunteers, and of course the families of the swimmers, are incredibly proud of the achievements of the athletes today.”

She added, “The athletes have worked incredibly hard during the year and we have built on past success, not only in terms of medals won this year compared to last year’s competition, but also the many successes at the Special Olympics Regional event held earlier in the year.

“The success of the athletes today will serve as great inspiration to others in the Club so that we can be even more successful next year!”
