Dooey boys get Dunloy CC on radar

For the 4th successive week the Dooey boys are getting Dunloy CC on the cycling radar.

Sunday saw them travel to Donegal for the Saddlerock CC GP in Carndonagh.

The A1 and A2 race was combined where Jonathan rode superbly to claim 3rd place in only his 4th A2 status race, a terrific result from a very strong field.

Next up was the masters race where our very own master Finbarr finished in 5th place to claim more points for his masters league.

Great riding boys and once again bringing recognition to the small club.

This all came on the back of Thursday nights interclub TT where Jonathan was the fastest rider followed closely by his team mates where they managed to clinch first place.

Great efforts from every rider and good to see so many turn out and race the event, well done lads.

A reminder of the open race being held in the village on 29th May. Online entry is advised as its shaping up to be a great days of local racing. Further details will be released next week.
