Dromore’s mini rugby sides fair well in Dungannon

DROMORE Mini Rugby travelled to Dungannon where all teams competed very well.

The Dungannon Minis were up to the task with some well timed defensive tackles and awe inspiring runs to score in the corner.

Dromore were treated to hotdogs and hot refreshments after the match and a big thank you must go to Ken and his team of volunteers.

The ever youthful John Gamble from Dungannon kept the P7 games running smoothly with slight hackles from the travelling coaches who couldn’t fault his referring expertise.

Thank you to all who travelled to Dungannon which was our first trip to Tyrone but will not be our last and well done to our new coaches who just received their Certificates from Mini Convenor Steve Wilson down at Dungannon.

The U7s played two matches with the first one being drawn. Despite some great attacking play and support from Rian Morton, James Pepper and Jordan Wilson Dromore came close on a number of occasions but couldn’t manage to score.

In defence Timothy Hampton and Ben Bradfield excelled.

In the second match despite dominating, Dungannon got tired early on letting Dromore score tries several scored by James Pepper after great support play between Rian Morton, Daniel Moore and James Pepper.

Louis McConnell played very well in defence and secured alot of possession for Dromore at turnovers.
