The top cup game of the day saw Ballymoney United Reserves away to Ballyclare Comrade Reserves with the local lads winnign 2-0 the Linda Welshman Memorial Cup.

RESULTS

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION

Clough Rangers Athletic 2 v 2 Kilbride Swifts

Kilbride got off to an excellent start with Chris Walsh scoring with a 25 yard shot on the fourth minute.

Clough got back on level terms on the 25th minute Nigel Boyd heading in from a corner kick. Both teams then had chances but the next goal didn't come until Ricky Reid converted a penalty for Clough on the 71st minute.

Time was then running out fast when Mark Kidd scored a deserved equaliser for Kilbride on the 88th minute. Referee Mr Brian Patterson

Ballycastle United 0 v 1 Rasharkin United

Both teams started off well and it appeared goals would be the order of the day but this did not materialise as the only goal in the game was scored by Johnny Nicholl on the 11th minute which gave Rasharkin the points.

Both teams will look back and wonder why the woodwork was struck so many times during the game. Referee Mr Wm McConaghie

Dunloy 1 v 0 Ballynure Old Boys

This was a must win game for both teams if they were to keep in touch with the league leaders and as a result the first-half saw the teams more or less cancel each other out.
