Dunloy hit Newtownabbey for six

Fortunately the weather from Friday and through to Saturday was favorable and resulted in only two league games being called off due to a wet pitches.

Best wishes from everyone are extended to the Carniny Amateurs player Ryan Wilkinson who suffered a bad injury in their Irish Cup game on Saturday.

BALLYNURE OLD BOYS 4 0 DESERTMARTIN

DUNLOY 6 2 NEWTOWNABBEY FC

Newtownabbey were a goal in front after the 1st minute when Dunloy conceded an own goal and this goal separated the teams until John John McFerran converted a penalty for Dunloy on the 36th minute.

Half-time was then looming when Kevin McQuillan put Dunloy in front on the 42nd minute this goal separating the teams until John John McFerran scored a third goal for Dunloy on the 82nd minute.

Benny McGarry then scored a fourth on the 84th minute followed by number five scored by Chris Brady on the 90th minute.

Stoppage time was then being played when Ricky Moore scored for Newtownabbey and Benny McGarry scored his second goal for Dunloy. Referee Mr. Paul Doherty

KILBRIDE SWIFTS 2 3 RASHARKIN UNITED

Kilbride started off well taking the game to Rasharkin and this paid off for them when Glenn Miskimmin scored putting them in front.

Kilbride continued to push forward and as half-time was approaching Mark Tweedie doubled their lead with a well taken goal.

The second half saw Rasharkin show a lot more urgency and got back into the game when Sammy McConaghie scored.

With this Rasharkin then went all-out for the equaliser which they got when Nathan Patton scored. Time was then running out for both teams when Rasharkin pushed up getting the winner when Sammy McConaghie scored in the dying minutes of the game.

Ballymoney had the better of the attacking play during the first-half and goals scored by Conor Reid and William Wilkinson saw then go in two goals in front at the break.

Ballyclare got back into the game after Aaron Ibbinson scored on the 47th minute but a goal scored by Ian Christie restored a two goal cushion for Ballymoney on the hour.

Ballyclare got a second goal when Jonny Boyd scored on the 73rd minute then went all-out for the equaliser which eluded them until the final whistle.

GLEBE RANGERS RES 6 1 MALLUSK ATHLETIC

Glebe were the much stronger team in the first-half taking a three goal lead with goals scored by Gareth Henry on the 15th minute and brace from Warren Morrison on the 21st and 42nd minutes.

Adam McVicker scored number four for Glebe on the 60th minute but Mallusk came back with Matt Fegan scoring on the 65th minute.

Time was then beginning to run down when Jamie Adrover and Warren Morrison scored on the 75th and 80th minutes. Referee Mr. Martin Bellew

The Strollers had the upper hand for most of this game and collected the points at the end by virtue of their three goals scored.

Half-time saw the Strollers in front through a goal scored by Peter Thompson on the 25th minute and two more goals scored by Timmy Cunningham and Stuart McKinney on the 55th and 84th minutes secured the points. Referee Mr. Samuel Forsythe
