Earlier start for Rathmore Golf Club open week

BREAKING with tradition this year Rathmore Golf Club are holding their open week one week early.

This will start on Sunday 13th June and finish on Sunday 20th. The opening and closing days are sponsored by Oasis.

Thursday 17th and Friday 18th are to be sponsored by Smallcost Carpets and Halliday Citroen respectively.

* PAUL Cameron took the plaudits at the Monthly Medal competition at Royal Portrush last Saturday.

Playing off six, Paul returned a winning score of 68 nett.

In silver position was one handicapper John Finnegan, jnr with 69 nett.

The bronze was claimed by Sammy Oliver (12) with a nett 73.

The best gross score was posted by James Stevenson (1) with a round of 72.

This Saturday the club will host the June Stableford.
