East Coast raise funds in memory of Paddy Campbell

East Coast Athletic Club raised £1,354 from its Sunrise 5k Run and other initiatives for NI Chest, Heart and Stroke, in memory of Paddy Campbell who passed away last year.

The club’s Press Officer, Ryan Maxwell, explained: “It was fantastic to see the running and wider sporting community of Larne come together with Paddy’s family to support such a worthwhile cause.

“Not only was Paddy a runner for East Coast, but he was our friend, a gentleman and a well-respected member of the local community.”

And rhe Sunrise Run 5k, in memory of Paddy Campbell, is set to return in 2015. The event will take place on July 27, starting at 7 am from Dixon Hall, Larne.
