Eglantine summer tournaments

The annual summer indoor bowling tournaments at Eglantine will commence next Wednesday, May 20 and continue throughout the summer months from 7.30 pm each evening.

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to come along and enjoy an evening of fun and friendship.

Make a note of the date and plan to attend.

First winners at Seymour Street

Jean Hewitt and David Lee were the first winners at the Summer indoor bowling tournaments which started at Seymour Street Lisburn Methodist on Monday night 7.30pm.

They will continue each week until Monday July 6 and entries are £2.

Make a date to come along regularly and join in the fun and friendship. All will be made very welcome.

Family affair at Soldierstown

It was very much a family affair when the Soldierstown Summer indoor bowling tournaments started on Saturday night and the winners were husband and wife, Charlie and Mary Whitty.

They will continue each Saturday night in the Parish hall from 7.30pm and will continue till the end of June.

Plan to attend each Saturday night and you will receive a very warm welcome.
