Elder star turn as Drifters reach another semi-final

John Elder was once again the star turn as the Mid-Antrim Blinds-sponsored Ballymena, Haryville & DIstrict Darts League’s Pictorium Cup reached the semi-final stage.

Elder fired a 13-dart leg to help Drifters into the last four in their quest for yet another trophy, while the Loyalist Cup competition is now also underway.

Davy Martin (The Diamond) had the week’s best finish with a 115 checkout, followed by, 110 Ian Rainey (The Diamond), 109 Brian Cathcart (Drifters), 96 Rodney McAleese (The Diamond), 90 Derek Rainey (The Diamond)

This Friday night sees the league’s three-a-side competitions down for decision.

The Division One event will be held at Greenhills Bar, Cargan, while the Buffs Club will host the second division competition.

A number of matches remain outstanding - all teams are reminded that if a date has not been set for re-arranged fixtures before the December meeting, a date will be set by the Executive Committee.
