Dromore continued to dominated the play in the first half with Ashton, Anna and Lynne having several shots on target but unable to get the ball passed the keeper. So half time brought a disappointing score line for the Dromore side.

Dromore knew after half time that the Elks would come out determined to score. The defence cleared several balls with keeper Emma Johnston making some brilliant saves.

The defence of Lynette Coggan, Aimee Thompson and Beth Maguire worked tirelessly to clear the balls. Again Dromore had chances to score but were unable to put the ball past the keeper.

Five minutes before the end Elks got the break they needed, Johnston saved the first shot and cleared it to the top of the circle where an Elks player received the ball and struck the ball into the back of the net.

Disappointingly the final whistle blew with Elks winning by one goal. Thanks to Emma Cochrane for umpiring.

Dame of the game was awarded to Anna Martin who worked tirelessly in midfield.
