The marathon has been wholeheartedly embraced by the local community since its return in 2013.

The riverside course embraces and showcases the contours of a historic city with the iconic Peace Bridge, the Ebrington Site, Free Derry Corner and the climb up Fahan Street into the Walled City itself all on the route.

Meanwhile a busy weekend of top class cross country action in Nottingham and Dundalk produced some excellent local performances.
