IT is with great regret members learned of the passing of much esteemed member Herbert McKinley.
He was a member of the club for many years and this was no great surprise as his father Fred was a legendary figure in the club.
He was in his late eighties and down through the years he was a winner of many prizes in the club. He was a gentleman and one of the old school of golfers.
Many of the membership paid him the ultimate tribute through their attendance at his funeral last week.
