Evening of legends

JIMMY Jones and Jackie Denver are among the names set to come back to Mourneview Park for the Carling 'Evening of Legends' on Thursday, October 21.

The league sponsors hosted similar evenings at all 12 Premiership clubs last season and will be doing the same this year with Glenavon’s event again taking place in the Bedeck Suite.

Joining Jones and Denver at Mourneview will be Dennis Guy, Terry Nicholson, Lee Doherty and current striker Tony Grant.

Fans will be able to put questions to their past and present heroes at the event, which will be ticket only. Tickets can be obtained from Glenavon Football Club and are expected to be available early next week.
