Fancy a new hobby? Free karate classes

COLERAINE Leisure Centre Karate Club is offering free come and try it sessions during the Month of August.

There will be separate classes for children and adults. Those interested can train at the club during the month for all classes free of charge.

At the end of August the individual will be offered a club membership but if they have discovered that karate is not for them they will have no obligation and owe nothing to the club. After a full training month they will know what they want to do.

No special clothes are needed to start. A tracksuit and loose fitting t-shirt will suffice.

Later if a karate Gi-suit is required this can be purchased for a reasonable fee at the club. Beginners will be coached separately in a non-threatening environment.

The classes are held in the Minor Hall at Coleraine Leisure Centre every Thursday. Children start at 7pm and finish at 8pm. Minimum age to start is 5-years-old.

Teenagers and adults start at 8pm and finish at 9.30pm. No maximum age.
