Fergus presented with award by rugby heroes

Fergus Bryce (9) from Coleraine was presented with a certificate by Ulster Rugby players Adam Macklin and Kyle McCall at the Coleraine RFC Centra Ulster Rugby Summer Camp recently in recognition of his playing skills.

Fergus joined dozens of other local children at the five day camp to learn new skills and meet visiting rugby heroes.

All participants received a Summer Camp boot bag with T-shirt, Rugby ball and a voucher to claim a free ticket to an Ulster Game at Ravenhill.

Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by independent retail group Centra, are taking place at over twenty province-wide locations this summer, catering for more than 1,000 children.

While most of the Summer Camps are for children aged 6-12, the ever popular Senior Camp aimed at boys and girls aged 13-17 years old with previous rugby experience and focusing on the technical, tactical, physical, mental and lifestyle aspects of Rugby Union will run out of the University of Ulster, Jordanstown at the start of August. There are also camps for girls aged 12-17 and a camp for children with Special Needs this year.
