Festive ‘double-header’ at Nutts Corner

Nutts Corner motorsport centre is set to host a double header of great sporting action over the holiday period.

Firstly, on Boxing Day, the traditional festive raceway meeting takes place with no less than five formulas on display. #Brisca F2 stock cars, Junior Rods, 1300 stock cars, 2L Saloons and Micro F2’s are all scheduled to participate in the packed 14 event programme, each of the classes will contest the now annual Derek Mason memorial King of the Corner title; this title is in memory of the much loved and admired commentator who sadly passed away it this very meeting 3 years ago, each and every one of the drivers are sure to give it their all as they try to add their name to the coveted title.

The F2 Stock Cars,2L Saloons and 1300 Stock Cars will provide the contact entertainment while the Junior Rods and Micro F2’s will add a non contact feel to proceedings. Race action kicks off at 2pm.

Then on Sunday, December 27, The Rallysport Association Winter Championship 2015 continues in style with an entry of over 120 drivers.

The action will be electric as there will be a diverse range of fantastic machinery including the popular superbike engined Rage, Semog and Speedcar race buggies and race cars, some superbly prepared Escorts and Toyota Corollas, fire spitting turbocharged Subarus and Mitsubishis, some seriously fast 106 Peugeots, Saxos, Honda Civics and the ever popular Vauxhall Novas and Corsas all thrown in for good measure. Admission is £10 for adults and £5 for teenagers.
