Fifths get back to winning ways

South Antrim Men’s Fifths were away to Ballymena last weekend looking to get back to winning ways after drawing with rivals Lisnagarvey in their previous game. 

The game started off slowly for the South Antrim men and this slow start cost them dearly when Ballymena took the lead. 

But South retaliated well with some great play by Jamie Cochrane and Aaron McKeown.

South continued forcing the game and this pressure eventually paid off when they forced Ballymena to give away a short corner. Aaron Mckeown pulled out to Gareth Campbell, who played the ball back to Aaron for a fantastic reverse stick deflection over the keeper to equalise.
