Eventually this pressure told when Cain Brown picked the ball up on the half way line, dribbled into the circle and slotted the ball past the advancing keeper.

South continued to press but Bangor managed to equalise following poor marking.

Unfazed, South continued to attack. Wallace got the ball to the left of the circle ran in and fired a shot in on the keeper, the keeper saved with the ball rebounding to the top of the circle where Archie Collins reverse hit the ball into the back of the net to go in 2-1 up at half time.

The second half started in a similar fashion to the first; with South in the ascendency. John Massey made it 3-1 to South; flicking the ball over the keeper after dribbling along the by-line.
