Final scores from the sweeps at Banbridge

MONDAY MARCH 22 - Danny O'Boyle played the 14 holes of this sweep in only four over par and that resulted in a winning score of 35 points.

John Hanna was delighted to hear that his two was the only one in the competition. He was richly rewarded.

1st, Danny O’Boyle (15) 35 points; 2nd, Paul Wylie (12) 32.

THURSDAY MARCH 25 - Jim Ledlie is opening up a big lead in the race for the fictional title of king of the sweeps for 2010. This was his fifth victory of the year so far.

He says that he won’t be such a force when play is off the back tees. We will just wait and see.

David Cherry had a successful day. He came second and split the twos pot with Gareth McGregor.

SUNDAY MARCH 28 - The Sunday sweep is by far the most popular of the week. What the regulars dread most of all is the thought of going through the whole year without winning at least once.

Sean McGreevey needs to worry no longer because he won this one in fine style.

THURSDAY APRIL 1 - Colin Kennedy was really pleased to win his first sweep of the year. He has won the twos pot on more than one occasion but there is an element of luck with that. To win the sweep means that you were the best golfer on the day and that is a good feeling.
