Fine effort against leaders

Craigavon Squash Club A team faced Belfast Boat Club and current league leaders last week but ended up on the wrong end of an 11-6 scoreline.

Rory Reynolds raced into a 2-0 lead but his young Ulster Junior opponent came back to win 3-2.

Nick Rusk also faced an Ulster U19 player and despite losing the first game he ran out 3-1 winner to keep his recent winning run intact.

Darren McCabe lost 3-1 while Peter Barclay lost 3-0 to leave the final score 11-6 in favour of the hosts.

Despite the defeat Craigavon played their part in a keen contest.

Craigavon B team faced league leaders Queens C in their latest match and produced a fine display to secure a convincing 13-3 win.

Nathan Wilkinson won 3-0, Raymond Broderick won 3-2 and James Crawford won 3-0.

It was left to Alan Emerson to complete a great nights work with a 3-1 winning margin.
