'First Royal' Northern Ireland supporters enjoy Slovenia win

The club will look forward to hearing from the members who attended NI’s precious 1-0 victory over Slovenia in Maribor last Friday. The Green and White Army can now look forward to the highly anticipated encounter with Italy at Windsor Park next month following this dream start to the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.

Anyone who has yet to complete payment for block booking of home tickets can do so at Thursday’s meeting. All outstanding money for tickets is to be paid to the club by the October meeting.

Cheque presentations will also be made to Charis Cancer Care and Talking newspapers for the blind, following the fund raising barbeque held earlier this summer in Cookstown Hockey Club.

There will also be a report back on the recent North Coast 5 a side tournament.

Thanks go to those who played, and to those who came down to support the boys. The team managed by Niall Hunter bowed out in the group stages but a great day was had by all at the seaside.
