Firsts’ game abandoned

FOR the second week in a row, Lurgan’s Ulster Bank Section 1 game was abandoned.

When the match against Cliftonville at Mallusk, was halted Lurgan sitting on 7 for 2 wkts off 17 overs.

As with the previous week’s abandonment at Donacloney, a second date will have to be determined for the match.

At Pollock Park the Thirds had got to the halfway stage in their league game against Carrickfergus.

They had just commenced their reply chasing 125 to win in a 25 over match when monsoon like conditions ended proceedings.
