Firsts in action ahead of new season

DROMORE Ladies Hockey Club’s First XI was in action this week, sporting their new away kit in a pre league match against Saintfield.

At home at Ferris Park on a glorious September afternoon the squad were out to put into practice their skills under the guidance of coach Nicola Clements.

The squad played well and had the oppositions goalie under frequent pressure as alot of action was in their favour with great team play and a strong forward line.

Thanks to all the parents as the girls looked great in their Dromore kits and it was great to havea great crowd of parents supporting and spectating the girls.

They were organised into four teams and played hard with a number of goals scored and great match practice for Ciara Barlow who was in goals.

The girls were putting all their skills practice to good use.

Thanks to Jonny for organising this and John Wilson for helping with umpiring. We wish the girls well as they play in their league matches.
