Just before the half hour mark Shiels threaded a precise ball through the defence and Workman latched onto it to round the keeper and slot home.

Workman doubled Upperlands lead before half time, again Shiels the supplier as he squared the ball and Workman finished low and hard into the bottom corner from just inside the box.

The aces started the second half the way they finished the first. Upperlands now attacking at will got a third within ten minutes of the restart. Scott this time providing for taylor to drill a shot into the near post bottom corner from ten yards.

West Bann nearly got a goal on the 70th minute which might have got them back into the game only for Mitchell to pull off a fantastic stop at his near post from point blank range. The home side then continued to add to their lead trough a great individual goal from Scott and a Patterson volley at the back post.
