Focus turned to next week

DROMORE Ladies Seconds faced a tough game on Saturday against a strong Ballymoney Seconds side.

The match started off well with both Dromore and Ballymoney having equal possession, however after 10 minutes Ballymoney got the break they were looking for and scored their first goal.

By half time, Dromore were trailing by two goals.

Dromore had a few good chances from Michaela Neill and Shannon Brush, but unfortunately we could not find the back of the net.

Both the defence and midfield worked hard, with a few good runs up the pitch by Chloe Glover, helped out by Ana Clarke and Judith Ervine.

The team defended tirelessly under pressure as best as they could on the day but, unfortunately it was not their game and the scoreline didn’t reflect their hard work.

As in all sport next week is another game.
