FOOTBALL: Coleraine crash out of CIS Cup

Coleraine are out of the CIS Cup after a 2-0 defeat at Shamrock Park last night (Tuesday)

Sean Mackle scored the opener in the 59th minute when his 25-yard right-foot piledriver ended up in the top corner.

Tim Mouncey headed in the second on 69 minutes after Braniff drilled the ball into the penalty area with pace.

Knight could have pulled a goal back for Coleraine, but his effort was saved by Ports keeper Neil Armstrong.

Coleraine are set to face Championship Two neighbours Portstewart in a friendly on Saturday at the Showgrounds.
