FOOTBALL: Further delay for Coleraine's Irish Cup tie

Larne Football Club have lodged an appeal with the IFA, following their decision to allow Newry to progress in the Irish Cup.

The appeal means Coleraine's tie with either Newry City or Loughgall, will be further delayed.

Coleraine were due to meet the winners of the game between Newry and Loughgall, which was due to take place tomorrow (Saturday), in the quarter finals of the Irish Cup.

Larne Chairman, Archie Smith told The Newsletter: "We are appealing against a number of things includeing th eresult standing and also the mention of Article 33 and the potential for more fines."
