On Friday evening Mervyn Pattison’s Moyola Park recorded a four goal win over a Glebe Rangers team that had no answers to a barnstorming first half by the Castledawson side.
Darren Walls netted twice, Robbie Lucas stroked home a penalty and man of the match Eugene Gallagher had the game won by half time.
Glebe put up a fight in a scoreless second half but the score-line leaves Moyola sitting pretty atop the league at this very early stage.
