FOOTBALL: New kit set to launched next week

WITH Coleraine's new 2010-2012 home and away kits due to be launched on July 8, the club is appealing to supporters to help mark the occasion with a reminder of some of the kits worn by the Bannsiders over the last few decades.

Club Shop manager Raymond Smyth explained: "Everyone has their own memories with the kits down the years.

"On the launch night, we would like to exhibit a selection of old kits as a prelude to the unveiling of the new kits. To do this we are appealing to supporters to lend the club their old kit for the night."

The main event of the evening will be the unveiling of the club's brand new home and away kits and Raymond is confident they will go down well with the supporters.

"The home shirt will be the traditional blue and white stripes, while the away kit is something a departure for Coleraine in recent years. We're very pleased with them and are confident the supporters will feel the same way."

The official launch will take place at The Showgrounds on Thursday July 8, starting at 8pm with compere for the evening Alan Simpson. There will be limited stock of both kits and training gear available to buy on the night, but orders will be taken. All prices remain the same as last season. There will also be a prize draw on the night in which two lucky supporters can win the new shirt of their choice.
