FOOTBALL: NI call up for local girls
THREE local teenagers are proving that football isn't just a mans game, by pulliing on the green and white shirt of Northern Ireland.
Lyndsay Whiteside, Lauren Wade and Alice Harkness all play for Coleraine Ladies.
Lyndsay Whiteside (16), from Garvagh, has just returned from Bulgaria with the U17 squad, while Coleraine girls, Lauren Wade (17) and Alice Harkness (17) are currently in the Czech Republic with the Under 19 squad.
The trio have been instrumental for Coleraine Ladies this season, and are certainly good prospects for the future of the ladies game.
