FOOTBALL: Patterson signs for Plymouth

Former Coleraine striker Rory Pattesron has put pen to paper for Plymouth Argyle.

The Northern Ireland star has signed a two year deal with the League One side.

The move comes just days after the 25-year-old joined Glentoran following a prolific season with Coleraine.

Patterson won't ever pull on a Glentoran shirt, but the East Belfast Club are 40,000 better off, without the Strabane man having kicked a ball.

Patterson scored 41 goals for Coleraine last season and earned his first Northern Ireland cap in March.
