Academy fundraiser

Lisburn Distillery FC Academy are holding a sponsored walk on Sunday October 20 to help raise funds for all their Mini-Soccer and Lisburn Junior Invitational League teams.

Those taking part will walk along the River Lagan ‘Two Bridges’ Route which is approximately 3.5 miles.

Everyone is asked to meet at Shaw’s Bridge from 1pm for a 1.30pm start.

Drinks and refreshments will be available afterwards for everyone taking part.

All Academy players are requested to take part and the walk is also open to all family and friends who wish to join in, but children of primary school age must be accompanied by an adult. Players taking part must wear official club training gear only.

In addition there are prizes up for grabs for the top 3 individual fundraisers:

1st: £50 Voucher for SportsDirect

2nd: £30 Voucher for SportsDirect

3rd: £20 Voucher for SportsDirect

Every penny raised will go into helping the Academy pay for training facilities, kits, equipment, league fees, referee’s fees, pitch hire, insurance and other costs during the season.

The Academy wish to thank John Kelly for his help in organising this event; its success will rely on everyone taking an active part and supporting the sponsored walk.
