This Saturday, Moneyslane are in cup action as they host Hanover at Jubilee Park in the Alan Wilson Cup (kick-off 1.30pm).

Slane are in good form, going into the game off the back of their thrilling 6-5 win over Craigavon City but their fellow Intermediate B high-flyers will provide stiff opposition.

The Portadown men currently sit fifth in the league table, five points behind Slane but they’ve played as many as four games less. They’ve just just twice, winning eight of their ten league games this season.

BANBRIDGE RANGERS

Meanwhile, back in league action, Banbridge Rangers host St Mary’s at Cheney Park.

This one is a proverbial six-pointer with Rangers going into the game sitting just two points above their opponents, who have a game in hand.

The Gers go into the game off the back of a four league game unbeaten run and are fresh from their impressive victory over Crewe United with a threadbare squad.

That run continues a 4-2 win in the reverse fixture at St Mary’s. The locals will be hoping to do the double over their opponents this Saturday.

RATHFRILAND RANGERS

In the Amateur League, Rathfriland Rangers travel to face Crumlin United. The Whites are in top form after their 5-1 win last weekend. They’re third bottom in the table but have only played seven games. Their opponents have lost just once in the league so far and so the Gers know they’ll have to be at their best to get a result.

SCARVA RANGERS

It’s been a tough old road for Scarva Rangers in Division One this season. The recently promoted side have struggled to come to terms with their new league, having lost all 12 of their games this campaign.

Nonetheless, they go again looking to get off the mark on Saturday as they host a high-flying Dungannon Rovers side.

The visitors go into the game three points off the top of the table and looking to make their game in hand on leader Coalisland Athletic count. Rangers will be hoping they can upset the odds and do the leaders a favour.

DONACLONEY

The Cloney travel to take on third place Castlecaulfield in Division Three looking for their second win of the season as they attempt to get themselves away from basement side Union Lusa.
