AMATEUR LEAGUE: Islandmagee part company with boss Davy Rollo

Amateur League side Islandmagee are on the lookout for a new boss after they ‘parted company’ with manager Davy Rollo.

The Premier Division outfit announced the decision on social media on Monday afternoon.

The club tweeted: “Islandmagee have parted with manager Davy Rollo. Thanks to Davy for his hardwork over the past months and wish him good luck for the future.

“We are now inviting applications for vacant manager’s job. Anyone interested please get in touch.”

Rollo, who took over at Wilbourne Park in the summer, failed to win a single league game during his tenure. The Islanders are currently bottom of the table with just five points from 11 games played.

The team endured a Halloween howler on Saturday as they were hammered 8-0 at Shankill United.
