Amateur League: Midweek results round-up

On Tuesday night Premier Division teams Islandmagee, Larne Tech and Nortel lost out to Dunmurry Rec, Dromara Village and Shankill United, respectively.

Wellington Rec got the better of UUJ in Division 1A with a 2-1 win at the Factory Grounds, while player-boss David McCrea scored the winner as Rathfern defeated Bangor Rangers 3-2 at The Diamond.

In Division 1C, Garry Campbell’s 18th Newtownabbey saw off local rivals Mossley with a 2-0 success at Cloyne Crescent. Kilroot Rec were hit for six away at 1st Bangor Old Boys.

On Wednesday evening Davy Rollo’s new-look Newington Rangers lost 2-0 away at Shorts.
