Amateurs Youth in call for players

DROMORE Amateurs Youth FC are making a final call for any boys and girls who would be keen on playing football this season for any of their teams.

The local club runs weekly coaching sessions for kids from P1 age right up to their U18s team. Coaching sessions take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evenings depending upon the age of the child.

The club takes part in mini-soccer tournaments on Saturday mornings for younger children, whilst the older groups field teams in the Mid Ulster Youth League.

There is a dedicated girls section that trains on a Friday evening, and all kids are coached by qualified and AccessNI vetted coaches.

Any youths wanting to play for the club are urged to take the opportunity now as league registrations close at the end of this month.
