Glenavon have been drawn against FH Hafnarfjördur of Iceland in the Europa League.

The first leg is expected to be away on July 3, with the return leg on Thursday, July 10.

The Lurgan Blues met their opponents before in the Uefa Cup back in the 1995/96 season and after a scoreless draw at Mourneview Park a goal from Sammy Johnston saw them through and become the first Irish League team to win in Iceland.

Glenavon play their first pre-season game on Tuesday night at Crumlin United, kick-off 7.00pm.

Manager Gary Hamilton will get an early look at new signing Conor Dillon who is expected to play.

The 24-year-old central defender, a former Republic of Ireland youth international, has signed an amateur contract with the Lurgan Blues.
