Tickets for the event are priced at £60 per person, and includes a 4 course dinner on the night, as well as pre and post dinner entertainment.

“Plans are well underway, and we hope this will be a celebration of one of the football highlights for the city since the club’s return to senior football,” said Chief Executive Sean Barrett.

“The side’s success in winning the Treble 25 years ago was something pretty spectacular, and we are determined to put on a fitting event to mark this remarkable achievement.

“No one will forget the memories of those games, or indeed the return to the Guildhall after lifting the FAI Cup against Cork in the replay in Dalymount.

“So far, we’ve had a tremendous response from the former players as well as those interested in attending.

“As a large number of the places available have already been snapped up by the local business and football community, we have decided to reserve the remaining places to cater solely for any further demand from Derry City fans.

“The club are now inviting supporters to apply for places in a ballot – in which priority will be given to season ticket holders - by contacting the club office with their details before Friday February 14, 2014.

“Due to the level of interest, a deposit of £15 per application is required in order to secure your place in the ballot.
