PARKHILL HITS SIX GOALS IN DRAMATIC 6-5 WIN FOR BALLYBOGEY

* Ballybogey came out 6-5 winers in a great game against Portstewart Res at the Joey Dunlop Centre on saturday and it was man of the match Ian Parkhill who scored all six goals to keep ‘Bogey unbeaten in the league so far this season.

Ballybogey raced into a two goal lead only to see Portstewart go back into a three two lead.

Parkhill scored two well taken goals to put ‘Bogey four three up and the ‘Bogey boys must have thought they had the points but Portstewart came back with two goals to go into a five four lead with only minutes left.

Ballybogey got two penalties in the last five minutes and it was Ian Parkhill who stepped forward and put the ball into the net both times for his double hat trick and secure the three points and keep ‘Bogey’s unbeaten run in the league.

This was a good performance by ‘Bogey and a special mention to striker Gary Keys who had to step into the nets as Ballybogey’s two ‘keepers were not available and after a shaky start produced two good saves to assure the points went to the ‘Bogey men on Halloween weekend.
