BALLYMONEY United booked their place in the next round of the Coca Cola Intermediate Cup with a 2-0 home success against Newington and will now play away to either Queens or Glentoran Seconds on February 15,

A SECOND winin a row for Peter Cairns since returning as Glebe boss.

Portstewart took an early lead in the fifth minute when Dean Murray fed Ryan Doherty and he placed his shot past Kane.

Glebe came back strongly and levelled the scores in the 25th minute through Gareth Henry.

Rangers looked the more purposeful of the teams in the second period and despite going down to ten minute on the hour mark they grabbed the points when Marks headed past Madison from a corner.
