Bannsiders pick up licences

SUCCESSFUL clubs were awarded their UEFA, Domestic and Championship Club Licenses for season 2012/13 at a presentation ceremony at the Culloden Hotel.

In line with the current UEFA, Domestic and Championship Club Licensing Manuals, applicant clubs were assessed in five key areas, namely: Sporting, Infrastructure/Safety, Personnel & Administration, Legal and Financial.

Based on these entirely objective criteria licences were granted to the following clubs:

UEFA CLUB LICENCES:

·Cliftonville FC

·Coleraine FC

·Crusaders FC

·Glentoran FC

·Linfield FC

·Portadown FC

DOMESTIC CLUB LICENCES:

·Ballymena United FC

·Carrick Rangers FC (Seaview, Belfast)

·Cliftonville FC

·Coleraine FC

·Crusaders FC

·Donegal Celtic FC

·Dungannon Swifts FC

·Glenavon FC

·Glentoran FC

·Linfield FC

·Lisburn Distillery FC

·Newry City FC

·Portadown FC

CHAMPIONSHIP CLUB LICENCES:

·Ballinamallard United FC (Stangmore Park, Dungannon)

·Institute FC

·Larne FC (Dixon Park, Ballyclare)

Club Licences are valid for one season only, namely 2012/13.

The Committee wishes to congratulate those clubs who have been granted a Club Licence and recognise the efforts of many key Directors, staff and volunteers at each club for the time and contributions they have made towards the successful application. Chairman of the Club Licensing Committee, Alan McKinstry, said: “I am delighted to recognise the sterling efforts of the clubs in completing their Licence applications and offer my congratulations to all of the successful clubs. The Committee wishes our participants in European Competitions every success in 2012-13.”
