Battle of the Blues at Mourneview
The Blues may start as favourites, but Glenavon can boost their own push for fifth spot with what would be yet another significant league win this season. Strangely, home form and points return has been poor in contrast to Glenavon’s away form. Infact, the Lurgan Blues are way out in front in the away league table.
In their last match Glenavon produced one of their best team displays of the season to defeat Cliftonville at Solitude, if they can repeat that then there is no reason why they cannot pick up another three points on Saturday.

“They have to win. We know they will come here determined to get the points and that means the pressure is all on them.
“Having already achieved our target hopefully the boys will play with a little more freedom. We are under no pressure to win so that does help in a game like this. We beat them earlier in the season but they came here and won 2-1 in November.
“We have a great run of games with plenty to play for right to the end of the season.”
