Bibs are forcedto sweatto the finish

Aghagallon Bibs were cruising 3-0 but were forced to pull out all the stops to salvage a 4-3 win over Hoofers to earn a place into the semi-final of the Winter League.

The early goals came from Garry McKenna, Sean Brannigan and Chrissy Loughran but defensive errors were to blame as the Hoofers came back to make it 3-3 with 90 minutes approaching.

However, in injury time McKenna sneaked the winner against the Newry champions.

Best on the night for Aghagallon were Garry McKenna, Declan Crooks and Brian Brew.

The AGM is this Thursday in the Crana Hall 8.00pm.

Also members wish Bibs captain Kevin Douglas all the best for his big day on Saturday when he gets married.
