Both myself and Anthony Blackburn have put alot of work into the team but there is no doubt were the credit needs to go,” he said.

“The players have worked tirelessly in training and have taken on board what we have told them. We have been unlucky in a couple of games but instead of blaming others, the players have shown real maturity and a great attitude to put things right.

“Blacky and myself believe in the lads’ ability so after two decent results hopefully they will start believing in themselves.

“MOTM was very difficult to call with so many great performances but we had to go to defender Michael Mallon.

“Andrew Houston has been excellent the past few weeks. His goal was just reward for the way he has been playing.”
