United - under the management of former Glenavon striker Dean Smith - arrive at Mourneview Park on Tuesday having won three of the club’s first four NIFL Championship One fixtures.

Hamilton can point to last season’s Irish Cup exit by Harland and Wolff Welders as a warning sign for the current crop.

“Up until last season’s Welders defeat I had a good record in management against lower-level opposition,” said Hamilton. “You remember the defeats far more than the wins.

“Annagh will make the trip having enjoyed a great start to the league season.

“The connections thanks to people like Dean and coach Gary McKinstry will add to the tie and we must approach it with the right attitude.”

Kick-off will be 7.45.
